On the 7th of May we form 8b went to Leipzig to do a sightseeing tour. We met at the Augustusplatz where Paula and Helena gave us a presentation about the Gewandhaus. After that we also heard presentations about the opera and the university.
Then our class got up the MDR building. From there we had a great view because the weather was really nice and the sun was shining. There Freddy and Lewin gave an interesting lecture about the DHFK and our class danced together. Furthermore we learned something about the Leipziger Zoo and that it´s the 2nd popular zoo in Europe.
We also heard something about Leipzig´s students and a few minutes later we went to the Naschmarkt and to the old town hall. We decided to take no break and went to the Bach monument where Eric and Franz held their presentation. We also heard some interesting facts about Leipzig as a city of music. After that we visited the St. Thomas Church and the St. Nicholas Church. We ended our tour at Leipzig´s main station where Elias presented it.
In our opinion the tour was really cool. We were very lucky with the weather because it was warm and we even kept something in contrast to other presentations.
